A special visit from 7️⃣ Houston Texans Quarterback C.J. Stroud and his mom recently visited the Heart Center. They reached out to express their interest in coming by, but they didn’t expect to be greeted by a young patient proudly wearing C.J.’s number 7 jersey. C.J. played a game of catch with his young fan and signed the jersey, creating an unforgettable moment. They stayed longer than planned to spend meaningful time with both patients and staff, who were just as excited for the visit.

After months of specialized care at Texas Children’s, baby Ada got to celebrate a major milestone: going home. She was born at just 22 weeks and faced serious respiratory challenges. A tracheostomy gave her the support she needed to grow and begin her next chapter outside the hospital.
