Yesterday, for the 3rd straight year, our Carlyle Cares Committee had the gracious opportunity to support Volunteers of America-Greater New York during Operation Backback at the Legacy Family Residence in Brooklyn! We were able to provide backpacks and school supplies for all 75 of their child residents, as well as an end-of-summer BBQ party to wish them the best as they returned to school! 😊 #RosewoodImpacts #CarlyleCares #Hospitality #GivingBack

Today we commemorated our three latest graduates of the Rosewood Academy for management training: Emory Paran (Asst. Dir. of Engineering), Kasheena Roberts (Executive Assistant), and Mustafa Sukkar (Asst. Dir. of Rooms). Kasheena was recognized in particular for winning the Excellence Award! To show our constant support for Rosewood's commitment to sustainability and net zero carbon admissions, The Carlyle put together several initiatives to commemorate Earth Day! We partnered with Central Park Conservancy to help paint their park benches, and helped pick up waste along 5th Avenue, right in our own backyard. Our very own Captain Planet, Kasheena Roberts, helped lead the way by partnering with our Stewarding team to teach proper disposal techniques and how associates can make small differences in their lives to impact change. She also helped us promote our fully-electric ride option to our guests!
