Part of what drew Christine Alden O'Neil to Clorox was our company’s dedication to growth — she could tell it was built into our culture, and that her own growth mindset would find a home here. “When I came to Clorox, I had a big opportunity to do a lot of important work that was aligned to the business and the business strategy,” says Christine. “Sometimes, when you go after a goal, you don't always know the direct path to success. I had moments where I kept trying, but I was getting stuck. My manager at one point said, ‘Don't be discouraged. Just keep trying, you know you'll get there.’ I realized at that moment that I was looking at the work with a fixed mindset, and I realized that I could solve this problem if I persevered.
