Celebrating Breastfeeding Awareness Month This month, The Hospital of Central Connecticut and MidState Medical Center proudly came together to recognize Breastfeeding Awareness Month with flag-raising ceremonies at both campuses. Team members, patients, and community supporters gathered to honor the importance of breastfeeding and to create space for education, connection, and encouragement. Several breastfeeding mothers generously shared their experiences, helping to inspire and empower others on their journeys. At Hartford HealthCare, we’re committed to supporting families through every stage of life—because when we lift each other up, we all thrive.

🏃♂️ HHC was proud to be part of this year’s Branford Road Race on Father’s Day! Dr. Duarte Machado and Richard Foy hit the pavement in the 5-mile run, representing our commitment to the Parkinson’s community. The Chase Family Movement Disorders Center also served as a title sponsor, highlighting our deep connection to this cause. 💙 From the starting line to the finish, this event was a celebration of strength, support, and community spirit. Thank you to everyone who ran, cheered, and helped make it a memorable day!
