  • In the spirit of giving, team building, and competition, our employees took to building literally and worked together to create sculptures using canned goods and non-perishable items. Completed builds were submitted from our facilities across North America and featured fun themes like picnic baskets, text bubbles, trucks, and more! Employees voted on their favorites and were judged by a panel of colleagues. But the real winners are local food banks, as over 4,000 food items were used in the sculptures and all will be donated to help restock pantries for families in need. Supporting our communities continues to be a priority, and we are proud to grow our relationship with the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank and other food banks local to our facilities. Thank you to everyone who participated and the ACRFB for the ever-growing partnership!

  • The latest campaign from Pup-Peroni® proves that dogs can be foodies, too! “Treat The Best To The Best” creatively and hilariously shows what we might expect from dog-influencers at a restaurant. In the end, dogs will be dogs and enjoy their slow-cooked Pup-Peroni quickly - without taking a selfie with it first!

  • Today, we celebrate National Intern Day! Our interns are an important part of our workforce all year long and we’re proud of the work they accomplish. As our current summer interns near the end of their time with us, they shared some of the most memorable aspects of their internships. Do you agree with their favorite products?

  • Another Smucker Family Day at our Orrville, OH, headquarters is in the books! This annual event offers an opportunity for families to learn about our Company and the work that their loved ones do every day. This year, families had the chance to explore our campus, take family portraits, meet Orrville-area first responders, tour our Child Development Center, enjoy lunch and ice cream together, and even register their children for various learning sessions - offering a peek into areas like our product history, research & development process, design studio, and more! We hope everyone enjoyed their time and had a chance to connect with family and friends!

  • This year marks an incredible Company milestone as we celebrate the 175th anniversary of Folgers®, one of America’s most iconic coffee brands and a proud part of our Smucker family. This week, we reflect on the Folgers’ heritage and how far it has come in its journey to becoming a household staple. In 1850, James A. Folger began working for William H. Bovee’s Pioneer Steam Coffee and Spice Mills at only 14 years old. By 1859, he became a full partner of the company and eventually bought out his other partners' shares, renaming the company “J.A. Folger & Co.” The company continued its growth over the next century, developing a trusted reputation for production and sales, and eventually became known as simply “Folgers.” read the full history of the brand here: https://lnkd.in/gNjNSTqp Folgers joined The J.M. Smucker Co. portfolio in 2008, and today we’re proud to celebrate the 175th anniversary with a special-edition metal can for our Classic Roast ground coffee. The can’s design showcases elements inspired by the brand’s birthplace, San Francisco. They include the Golden Gate Bridge, a sign for Howard Street (where the original facility was located), and a nod to Folger’s Golden Gate, which is the name of the first hit coffee blend. This week, employees had the opportunity to gather and celebrate the brand’s anniversary. The recent Folgers-centric episode of "Tomorrow's World Today” played on digital screens, Folgers historical archives were on display, and our dining team offered a special coffee-themed lunch menu inspired by the bold flavors of New Orleans cuisine – where our coffee is produced today. Employees at our New Orleans facility each received one of the 175th Anniversary cans as well as Folgers swag! Thank you to the many loyal fans of Folgers over the past 175 years. We look forward to seeing what the next 175 brings!

  • We are incredibly humbled to receive the 2025 Champion for Children award from our longtime partner, Akron Children's Hospital. This partnership includes many touchpoints, from the Smucker’s Berry Good Reading Program, in which we provide free books to all patients during wellness visits, to the Doggie Brigade sponsored by Milk-Bone®, where we support the service dogs who provide joy to patients at hospitals within Akron Children’s network. These are just a few of the projects we are proud to support in collaboration with Akron Children’s Hospital.  This week, we welcomed Akron Children's to our Orrville, OH, headquarters as part of a ceremony celebrating our partnership while recognizing our employees and all the great work they do in our communities. The ceremony recognized the individuals who have logged the most volunteer hours in our Smucker Giving platform, along with the winners of our recent canned goods construction challenge, in which teams of employees built unique structures entirely out of unopened cans of food to be donated to those in need. Thank you to Akron Children’s, our other volunteer partners, and to our employees, without whom this work would not be possible!

  • Today, we’d like to highlight our employee Katie Asleson as the first Smucker Spotlight of the summer! Katie is an exceptional Senior Analyst in Category Leadership whose dedication and expertise play a vital role in the success of our dog treat business. Her commitment to delivering accurate, actionable data helps drive informed decisions and measurable results, and she was recently recognized in the industry for her master analytical skills. Katie says that her favorite part about her role is digging into the category to find trends and opportunities. She also loves working with the retailer to adjust planograms and strategy to evolve with the category. We thank Katie for her motivation and drive to turn data into growth for the company.

  • Our Summer 2025 interns recently sat down with Chief Executive Officer and Chair of the Board, Mark Smucker, for our annual “Cup of Joe with the CEO” event. This longstanding tradition is something our interns look forward to every year. It presents a wholly unique opportunity to learn about our Company’s history, strategy, and culture from our fifth-generation Smucker family leader. This year, we also hosted an online session for the interns who work in our operations, sales, and remote locations across the continent. We hope Mark and our intern classes continue to enjoy this tradition for years to come!

  • The employees at our manufacturing facility in New Bethlehem, PA, which produces many of our peanut butter products, are passionate about supporting local causes and growing our relationship with the community. As part of our commitment to improve the communities in which we live and work, we recently donated $60,000 to the New Bethlehem Fire Company. This donation allowed the company to purchase a new side-by-side vehicle, which will aid in lifesaving emergency rescue in off-road or hard-to-reach areas of the community. Health and safety should always be a top priority, and we are proud to support local organizations in their efforts to keep our communities safe.
