Over the past month, they’ve immersed themselves across all departments, gaining a deeper understanding of our operation and culture. With their enthusiasm and drive, they’re already embracing our commitment to Make the Magic Happen. Now, they’re honing their focus with Sarah in Guest Relations and Aamir in Food & Beverage, bringing fresh perspectives and passion to their respective areas. We’re excited to see their journey unfold and are proud to support the next generation of hospitality leaders. Welcome to the team! 

As PRIDE Month comes to a close, we reflect on the meaningful ways our Maybourne Beverly Hills team came together in celebration and service. We kicked off June with a fun and festive Welcome to Work activation featuring treats, prizes, and educational moments. Our colleagues also volunteered with Project Angel Food, helping prepare nearly 3,000 medically tailored meals for those battling critical illnesses, an experience that truly embodied our Maybourne Mindset of Putting People At Our Heart. In our guest experience, we introduced a Cocktail for a Cause, a Strawberry Margarita crafted in collaboration with entertaining expert Paul Zahn, with proceeds benefiting the Human Rights Campaign. At The Maybourne Beverly Hills, PRIDE isn’t just a celebration. It’s a daily commitment to inclusion and community.

On May 7, we proudly celebrated Maybourne Day across all of our distinctive properties Claridge's, The Connaught, The Berkeley, The Emory,The Maybourne Riviera, and here at The Maybourne Beverly Hills. As we celebrate for the second year, Maybourne Day is more than just a date, it’s a celebration of our people, our purpose, and the shared mindset that unites us under one Maybourne roof to create stories of distinction. At The Maybourne Beverly Hills, our day was filled with connection, reflection, and celebration. We began with a warm “Welcome to Work” featuring coffee, pastries, and mini Maybourne flags. Breakfast was served by our Managing Director, Sam Jagger, followed by a heartfelt lunch hosted by our Senior Leadership Team, featuring dishes inspired by the countries our Maybourne hotels call home. Throughout the day, colleagues engaged in learning sessions exploring our Maybourne Mindset and Maybourne Service Storybook, participated in activations like “Be Part of the Story” where handprints were added to our heart-of-house wall and gathered for “Create Your Maybourne Moment”, a joyful toast to our journey and to year two of Maybourne Day! Here's to the colleagues who make the magic happen everyday!

We celebrated Administrative Professionals Day at Maybourne Beverly Hills by recognizing our wonderful Administrative Professional Colleagues who consistently put people at our heart, stay two steps ahead, and make the magic happen! Joined by their Senior Leader and our Chief Operating Officer, Roland Fasel our colleagues enjoyed a well-deserved lunch at The Terrace, complete with the fresh flavors of our newly launched Spring Menu. It’s the Grand Reopening of the Maybourne Beverly Hills Colleague Cafeteria, Canon Drive Diner! We’re delighted to welcome back our newly renovated space, now brighter and better than ever. From the energetic live-action cooking station to the crowd-favorite jukebox, the Canon Drive Diner is filled with warmth, flavor, and fun. At Maybourne, putting people at our heart is one of our core mindsets and this transformation is a wonderful reflection of that. This space has always been the heart of our hotel, serving the dedicated team that keeps the hotel running. A heartfelt thank you to our Culinary, Stewarding, Purchasing, and Engineering Teams for making the magic happen. Here’s to great food, great company, and a refreshed space for the colleagues who give their all, every day!

In celebration of Women’s History Month, colleagues from the Maybourne Beverly Hills spent the day giving back volunteering at Downtown Women's Center supporting women experiencing homelessness, and dining at Homegirl Café, part of Homeboy Industries, which empowers formerly gang-involved men and women. A meaningful reminder that supporting women means showing up for them. Grateful for the opportunity to serve, learn, and support organizations making a real difference in our community.

At the Annual Gala last night, the Maybourne Beverly Hills had the incredible honor of announcing our 2024 Colleagues of the Year a well-deserved recognition of the dedication, passion, and commitment that define our Maybourne Mindset. They go above and beyond each day, enriching our guests’ and colleagues’ experiences and inspiring those around them.

Today, The Maybourne Beverly Hills announces its partnership with Franco Eyramian, who has designed a bespoke eyewear collection to complement colleague uniforms. This creative collaboration marks a first-of-its-kind partnership, redefining uniform standards at the property and setting a new precedent for all luxury properties worldwide. “I am honored to partner with The Maybourne Beverly Hills to create bespoke eyewear for their hospitality team,” says Franco Eyramian. “Our mantra is ‘Face Comes First’ and you only have one chance to make a spectacular first impression. This collaboration elevates the guest experience while adding a sophisticated, personalized touch to the appearance of the hotel team." Fitted for the staff personally by Franco, the initial cat eye and square frames will be worn by the Concierge, Front Office, Security, and Bar teams, offering top of the line optics for practicality and performance.
