The FWC26Miami and the U.S. Soccer Foundation have announced a new partnership to bring soccer programing to more than 30,000 youth in Miami, expanding the reach of the game and ensuring that the 2026 World Cup leaves a lasting legacy. A key part of this effort is training 750 coaches to serve as mentors, giving young people the guidance and support they need to thrive on and off the field. This partnership builds on the work of the Miami-Dade Soccer Initiative, launched in 2023 by Griffin Catalyst, The Children's Trust of Miami-Dade County, and the U.S. Soccer Foundation, which is bringing 50 mini-pitches to under-resourced communities and expanding access to the game.
