Continuing our theme of eating BBQ this week... #TWG employees in Jenks gathered for the much-anticipated 3rd Annual Smoked Meat Contest. The aroma alone was enough to make every mouth water, and the friendly competition was fierce. In Oklahoma, BBQ is a revered tradition, and our participants honored it with an impressive array of entries. From tender brisket and juicy chicken to savory pulled pork, fall-off-the-bone ribs, rich pork belly, perfect burnt ends, and smoked bologna. With incredible sides rounding out the feast —homemade creamy mac & cheese, classic potato salad, and hearty baked beans —it was hard to pick a winner...but we had to. Congratulations to our top pitmasters: 1st place: Billy L. 2nd place: Miranda S. 3rd place: Libby T.
