Hepatitis C Found in Brain Lining Linked to Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder ⬇️ A new study by Maree J. Webster and team leverages our Twist Comprehensive Viral Research Panel to study the presence of viruses in the brain lining. They discovered hepatitis C virus present in individuals with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, suggesting a possible link between infection and psychiatric symptoms. The findings raise hope that antiviral treatments could alleviate symptoms for some patients. 🎉 We are excited to announce the launch of a humanized transgenic (HuTg) mouse model to expand and complement our offering of antibody discovery services as well as further streamline monoclonal antibody discovery!
