This summer, our Valley employees and their families came together for a fun day at the Fremont Days Rodeo. From rodeo action to hot dogs, candy and custom Valmont fans, it was all about creating memorable experiences together. Events like this are just one way we celebrate our people and strengthen the sense of community.

Our facility in Fort Meade, Florida, is home to more than 100 employees dedicated to producing Light Weight Spun Concrete (LWSC) distribution poles—an innovative, reliable and resilient alternative to traditional wood poles. Known for its strong technical capabilities, the team operates specialized equipment including spinners, tensioners, cranes and batch plant systems. Their expertise, dedication and focus on safety and quality make Fort Meade an essential part of our operations and a trusted partner to the customers and communities we serve!

After 29 years with Valmont, Domingo is stepping into a well-earned retirement and leaving behind a legacy built on hard work, heart and mentorship. Domingo started in the paint department and eventually grew to help train employees and open new Site Pro 1 locations across the country. Check out his advice for new employees coming after him!

After four years as a geotechnical engineer, Willa decided to go back to school for her master’s in mechanical engineering while gaining hands-on experience as a manufacturing engineering intern at Valmont. Our time with the 2025 summer interns is coming to an end. This year has been filled with growth and opportunities to make a mark across the company. This week, we hosted a Bring Your Kid to Work Day at our headquarters in Omaha. More than 130 attendees joined us for a fun-filled morning of hands-on activities and a behind-the-scenes look at their parents work. From building LEGO pivots and crafting custom badges to solving word scrambles and exploring the building on a scavenger hunt, our Valmont kids brought energy and creativity to every station.
