Jim brings over 30 years of financial, accounting, and investigative expertise, with deep experience in internal investigations, SEC and DoJ enforcement matters, accountant’s malpractice, anti-bribery and corruption, internal controls, and financial reporting. He has led numerous high-profile forensic accounting investigations involving complex accounting and fraud, and has presented findings to audit committees, the SEC, and U.S. Congressional committees. Notably, Jim led an extensive investigation of accounting and reporting issues at Freddie Mac and worked on behalf of the Lehman Brothers Holdings bankruptcy estate. His work spans embezzlement cases, FCPA violations, SEC actions, profit disgorgement and public company restatements. He has served as interim Chief Compliance Officer, Deputy Director of Internal Audit, and advisor to DoJ-appointed Independent Monitors.
