Last week we filmed at San Antonio Water System to capture footage for the Basic Wastewater Course. Their facilities and team gave us such a great variety of processes and perspectives to bring this project to life. A heartfelt thank you to Jeremy Merz, Jorge Nicolas Mejias, Alissa Lockett, Velma Paniagua, Gregg Eckhardt, Daniel Castillo, Roland Gutierrez, Jed Gonzales, Diego Hernandez, Juan Ramirez, Michael Galindo, and Greg Wukasch for going above and beyond to support this effort. This project is all about giving students a real look at how utilities operate, and SAWS showed us exactly what excellence in wastewater treatment looks like. #TexasWater #BasicWastewater #WorkForWater
