“The thing I’m most proud of about “my career” is I have failed more than anyone I have ever met…”
My next guest on The Path doesn’t follow a path or have a set destination. Entrepreneur, blogger and author
Seth Godin
's professional journey is the epitome of a nonlinear career.
Seth started his first business when he was 13 and has been continually developing his ideas, building and selling several prosperous businesses along the way. He ran a book packaging company, was a VP at Yahoo!, and is a prolific writer with 20 bestselling books and a daily blogging practice. There’s no one way to define Seth or the work he does.
He pursues passion and looks for projects as opposed to jobs. His advice? Seek opportunities that allow you to do something rather than a job where you have something you have to do.
Watch below to hear more about
Seth
's unconventional approach to his life and career.
