The Book Leads – Episode 39: Maureen Ross Gemme, MS Ed. & Emerge: 7 Steps to Transformation (No Matter What Life Throws At You!) For this episode, Maureen shares with me the trauma that impacted her life, beginning with addiction, leading to the hard work of recovery addiction, and eventually using those lessons to help others. The method in which she helps others is fascinating – using both traditional tents of addiction recovery and the lessons she herself learned and took away from that same recovery journey. We may not all be trying to recover from the traditional ideas of addiction, but we all have some experience with trauma that’s hindering our path forward.
