“It would be hard to find a more honest and transparent person than Doug. He would never tell you, but he is absolutely brilliant. He knows the semiconductor business from one end to the other, and readily comprehends all failure modes from logic design to device physics. I have seen him bring up junior staff, handle difficult conflicts in an organization (personal and structural), solve technical problems that nobody else could, and work with other teams to find a globally-optimal solutions (not just ones that were best for him). One thing I have NEVER seen him do, is throw a problem "over the wall". Doug is truly, a man for all seasons.”
