    Visionary who helped inspire and champion the Slocum family and a team of local supporters in designing and building a community honor court that paid tribute to their son LCPL Ricky Slocum, along with 10 other local SCV heroes, who lost their lives in Operation Iraqi Freedom following 9-11.

  • Community Campus / Sports and Event Center

    Visionary, designer, and draftsman of 11 acre community campus (sports and event center) hosting a preschool, classical academy, church, and other organizations. The outdoor space includes a compass courtyard, softball field, basketball courts, children's outdoor play space, and event areas. The 47,000 square foot indoor space included a colonnade coffee house, promise circle atrium, crown chapel, nonprofit office space, and a 700 seat celebration center.

    Designed, organized, and lead community entry in 2007, 2008, & 2009 parade involving hundreds of participants, floats, flags, and Macy-parade-like balloons that brought joy to local citizens.

  • NCAA National Championship Game Honors

    NCAA (Men's College Basketball Referee)

    Selected to officiate the NCAA March Madness National Championship Game D2 in 2005. Officiated Final Four games in 2007 and 2009. Have been blessed with post-season honors 12 years.

  • Chancellor's Marshall Award

    UCLA

    The Chancellor's Marshall Award is a selective undergraduate honor for students who have made significant contributions to UCLA and the surrounding Los Angeles community through a sustained record of outstanding leadership and service. The recipients of this award are distinguished by the blue and gold fourragère, which is worn during the Commencement ceremony.
