“I had the pleasure of having Patrick as one of my freelance writers during my time at GreenSlate as VP, Head of Content. Would I work with Patrick again? Most definitely. I love working with writers who are able to deliver on deadline, take constructive feedback, adapt, and provide pitches and ideas that are in line with the stated content strategy. Patrick does all three. His knowledge of the entertainment production space was invaluable to me and his pitches were on point. He was also the main writer for a production spotlight series, where he would take interviews with state film offices that I had done and craft them into compelling articles for New Mexico, New Jersey, Arizona, and Oregon. The New Jersey article in particular was a real winner and drove business for the company, and on that particular article Patrick cleverly tied the structure to NJ Film Office's stated mission, and they loved it. Patrick was extremely easy to work with and I'd even go so far as to say I enjoyed our 1:1 catch ups where we would kick around ideas and I'd provide feedback. Again, I can't overstate how important it is for freelancers to be able to take and show that they're adapting with provided feedback, and Patrick was excellent at this. It kept me coming back to him to provide more opportunities. I'd like to add that he's somebody who I would have enjoyed working with on a full time basis as well, beyond just the scope of freelancing, and had the circumstances been different I would have definitely loved to have him as a part of the team full time. He's a real catch either way and I have no doubt that he'll deliver above and beyond on whatever project or role he takes on. I look forward to working with him again in the future.”
