Mainstreet.com
quoted: Tim Tang, an executive with managed network service provider Hughes, told how we got into this sorry state: "Hotels haven't thought through their implementation of WiFi. Many people are using the same resource, at the same time. But the amount of broadband resources is insufficient for the demand. The first problem is capacity. Access is also a problem. It's a perfect storm for a miserable WiFi experience."

Hughes exhibits at the annual NRF Big Show event in New York City each January. The Hughes booth and associated marketing activity focuses on demonstrating how HughesON products and services enable retailers to successfully implement their store of the future and omni-channel in-store initiatives. These range from store networks, high capacity bandwidth, and Wi-Fi solutions with strong security to digital signage and video based training solutions to enhance both the in-store customer experience and improve store associate's employee satisfaction and knowledge level.
Each year, Hughes relates these solutions directly to retailer in-store initiatives such as mobile device deployments, digital signage deployments, clienteling solutions, and Guest WI-Fi access for customers. These solutions are staged in a visual manner in the Hughes booth such that any visiting retailer can immediately see the benefits of the Hughes products and services in the context of their environment.
Hughes also hosts and/or sponsors special VIP events for retailers to enjoy time with their peers in interesting locations and environments and also learn more about Hughes and it's partners solutions.Other creatorsSee project
