Account Executive
Account Executive - Remote | Washington D.C. - Earth Observation🌎
We're supporting a disruptive space company that’s unlocking powerful capabilities for the U.S. defense and intelligence community. They’re hiring a Strategic Account Executive to help drive strategic growth with high-impact partners working at the edge of national security and frontier tech.
The company is early in its engagement with these accounts, and they’re looking for someone who can step in, shape the narrative, and guide these relationships from concept to contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and own strategic customer relationships from the ground up
- Shape and implement go-to-market strategies across key federal tech accounts
- Explore mission alignment with defense tech companies engaging directly with their leadership and BD teams
- Act as a strategic partner and client advisor, bringing in internal technical experts as needed
- Craft and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and capability briefings
- Collaborate with product, solutions, and executive teams to align on delivery, priorities, and roadmap relevance
- Actively contribute to the company’s overall BD and pipeline generation strategy
Key Requirements:
- A track record of building enterprise relationships in the defense or dual-use tech space
- Experience managing long, complex BD cycles and influencing senior stakeholders
- TS/SCI clearance required
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and interpersonal
- Comfort with ambiguity, creativity in approach, and willingness to take ownership of outcomes
- A self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently and remotely
- Bonus: exposure to geospatial data, EO, or space-based platforms
