Compile, review, analyze, and record financial information to the general ledger. Perform month-end closing. Prepare and review journal entries in accordance with GAAP and internal policies. Conduct account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data and address any discrepancies. Complete bank reconciliations promptly, investigating and resolving any differences. Analyze financial results and prepare flux analysis to support financial reporting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain alignment on financial matters and business objectives. Ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and company policies. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and may supervise team. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables
Experience with month-end close processes and financial reporting
Ability to interpret financial data and identify trends
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 5+ years of experience in accounting, or Master’s degree in Accounting and 3+ years of experience in accounting

Experience with Deltek Costpoint
Ability to pay strict attention to detail
Possession of excellent organizational and communication skills
Possession of excellent analytical skills
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
