Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, verify, and process invoices and expense reports in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure timely payment of vendor invoices and maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and account reconciliations.
  • Maintain vendor files and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements (e.g., W-9, 1099).
  • Collaborate with procurement and other departments to resolve invoice and payment issues.
  • Support audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed.
  • Continuously improve AP processes and contribute to automation initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting roles.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
  • Experience in process improvement initiatives is a plus.
