28 years in helping IT, Engineering & Analytical Resources with their Next Career Move. .....Client’s partner with us because we deliver.
We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Data Integration Architect to lead the design and implementation of advanced data access, integration, and mining solutions across a hybrid environment comprising Windows and Linux systems, on-premise legacy infrastructure, and a private Azure cloud footprint (30%).
This architect will be responsible for leveraging AI/ML technologies, automation frameworks, and data mining techniques to unify and operationalize access to structured and unstructured data across SQL Server, Oracle, Exadata, ServiceNow, and SharePoint—with the goal of enabling smarter systems operations, predictive analytics, and scalable data delivery pipelines.
This is for project based statement of work. It could be time and material or fixed price deliverables. You would be involved in estimating timeline, and fixed price.
Key Responsibilities:
Architecture & AI/ML Strategy
Design enterprise-scale data access and mining architecture that supports AI/ML workloads across on-prem and cloud environments
Develop and implement machine learning-driven automation solutions for systems performance insights, anomaly detection, and predictive support operations
Define and oversee implementation of feature extraction, model deployment, and intelligent orchestration systems in collaboration with AI/ML teams
🔗 Data Access & Platform Integration
Architect secure, scalable interfaces between legacy systems and data sources including:
SQL Server, Oracle, Exadata
ServiceNow (via Table API / web services)
SharePoint (Graph API, REST, or direct data layer integrations)
Create reusable, version-controlled data access pipelines and metadata layers to support consistent model input/output
☁️ Hybrid Infrastructure Enablement
Integrate legacy workloads with Azure-based private cloud services, enabling hybrid orchestration, AI compute workloads, and model-serving across environments
Provide architectural guidance on data movement, federation, and caching strategies to minimize latency and maximize throughput for ML applications
🔐 Governance, Security, and Automation
Establish data security, access control, and encryption standards aligned with policies
Implement automated auditing, drift detection, and alerting mechanisms for systems and data pipelines
Collaborate with InfoSec and Operations to ensure alignment with governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
Minimum Qualifications:
10+ years in systems architecture, infrastructure engineering, or enterprise data architecture
Strong experience architecting in mixed OS environments (Windows + Linux), including hybrid cloud workloads
Hands-on expertise with data integration from SQL Server, Oracle/Exadata, ServiceNow, SharePoint, and file-based systems
Deep understanding of AI/ML lifecycle workflows — including data ingestion, feature engineering, model inference, and monitoring
Experience with Azure services such as Azure Machine Learning, Azure Synapse, Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory, and Private Link/Networking
Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting, and REST API consumption
Familiarity with data mining frameworks and tools like PyCaret, Scikit-learn, Spark MLlib, or similar
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of MLOps architecture including CI/CD pipelines for ML (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, Argo)
Experience using infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, ARM, Bicep) to deploy reproducible environments
Prior experience modernizing large enterprise IT systems
Exposure to ServiceNow CMDB schema, Graph API for SharePoint, or data classification systems
Experience designing systems that integrate structured + unstructured data (e.g., documents, log data, KBs)
