$60,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

The Opportunity:

Fujitsu General America, Inc. (FGAI) is a global leader in HVAC, offering innovative, energy-efficient solutions across North America. As demand continues to grow, we are expanding our presence and seeking a results-driven Area Sales Manager (ASM) to support and grow our dealer network within an assigned region.


This role is key to driving FGAI’s regional growth strategy. The ASM will be responsible for promoting and selling our residential HVAC products while developing strong, long-term relationships with contractors, dealers, and distributors. Success in this role requires a strategic mindset, a passion for sales, and a deep understanding of the HVAC channel model. Core responsibilities include building a strong sales pipeline, identifying new business opportunities, delivering compelling presentations, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. The ASM will also stay up to date on product innovations, market trends, and competitor activity to maintain a strong consultative sales approach.



What You'll Do Every Day:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the assigned region
  • Work closely with contractors and dealers to identify new business opportunities
  • Support dealers in understanding and implementing Dealer-based programs
  • Coordinate with distribution partners to align contractor-facing initiatives
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the HVAC industry
  • Deliver compelling proposals and technical presentations tailored to customer needs
  • Translate technical features into clear business benefits
  • Analyze sales and market data to identify trends and inform strategy
  • Track sales activity and forecasts accurately using CRM tools
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver optimal customer solutions
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs



The Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field (equivalent experience considered)
  • 2–4 years of sales, business development, or technical sales experience, ideally in HVAC or a related industry
  • Familiarity with the North American HVAC distribution model
  • Ability to build technical product knowledge of HVAC systems and applications
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proven track record of developing and maintaining customer relationships
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented
  • Comfortable working independently and within a team environment
  • Willing and able to travel as needed
