Assistant Controller, 140K

Addison Group is partnering with a private equity–owned company entering a major growth phase. Following a recent acquisition, the company is on track to triple revenue and is seeking an Assistant Controller who demonstrates strong career progression and has the ambition to become a high-level leader within the organization.

Compensation: $135K–$145K base salary + bonus

Location: Fully Remote

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing in month-end close and year-end processes
• Oversee and manage accounting teams daily operations
• Review and analyze general ledger account reconciliations
• Generate monthly financial and performance reporting for further analysis
• Produce supporting documentation for audits
• Oversee and assist in financial reporting
• Documentation of current business processes, procedures and internal controls
• Monitoring important business metrics, and identifying action steps to improve such metrics
• Utilizing technology to continuously learn, innovate and share knowledge with team members

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• 5+ years of Accounting experience required
• Experience with multi-location accounting (can be from retail, healthcare, restaurant etc.)
• CPA, or CPA Candidate highly preferred
• Experience with NetSuite software highly preferred
• Experience in public accounting industry is a plus
