Associate Director, Client Partnerships

Axios is a media company dedicated to providing trustworthy, award-winning news content in an audience-first format. The Associate Director, Client Partnerships will join the growing advertising team in New York and report to the Head of Strategic Partnerships. The role involves working with new and existing partners to build Axios’ revenue through successful client partnerships. Candidates should have 5+ years’ experience in sales, specifically in the digital media/news industry, established relationships with key agencies and brands, experience in an outbound sales environment, and understanding of digital media, online marketing technology, and Axios’ competitive landscape. The role requires superior communication skills, ruthless prioritization, ability to understand partner business priorities and develop creative solutions, and a proven ability to generate leads. The position is high-energy with a hunting mentality and requires willingness to travel and attend social events and engagements. The candidate should be exceptionally collaborative, have a growth mindset, and be comfortable with a mix of outbound sales strategy and nurturing inbound leads and existing client relationships.
