Position Overview


As the Associate Vice President of HR Operations & Total Rewards, you will support the strategic development and execution of global total rewards programs, oversee and improve best practices for domestic and international HR compliance, optimize and improve HR technology, and support M&A people operations. This role focuses on building and administering innovative employee benefits and compensation solutions, harmonizing and documenting processes and procedures, integrating newly acquired companies, and leveraging data analytics to drive decision-making. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in global total rewards, advanced data analysis skills (Excel), HRIS systems experience, domestic and international HR compliance, a strong focus on infrastructure, and a proven ability to engage employees through effective communication strategies.


As an Associate Vice President, you will:


Global Total Rewards:


o  Lead the development and administration of global payroll and benefits offerings and programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, PTO, parental leave, life and AD&D insurance, wellness initiatives, remote work policies, and other ancillary benefits.

o  Pilot the development and administration of a global compensation program, including market benchmarking and analysis, and both Long Term Incentive Compensation (LTIP) equity and executive compensation.

o  Steer data reporting, analytics, and modeling to assess effectiveness of Global Total Rewards program and ensure alignment with objectives and market trends.

o  Recommend and implement changes as needed, including consolidation, elimination, or development of new policies and programs to maintain competitiveness.


HR Processes and Compliance:


o  In collaboration with finance, operations, and legal departments, drive compliance with disclosure, governance, and regulatory requirements, ensuring full adherence to all applicable rules, standards, and obligations of a dually listed publicly traded company.

o  Ensure comprehensive documentation of HR systems, processes, and procedures to support compliance and regulatory reporting in both US, UK, China, UAE, as well as future international markets.

o  Manage internal and external HR audits on systems, processes, and procedures in collaboration with Accounting & Control and Operations departments.

o  Oversee reporting and recordkeeping processes, ensuring accurate and timely data and reporting on all benefits, compensation, recognition and retention programs.

o  Disseminate data for proper governance and oversight to stakeholders including executive management, oversight committees, the PPHC Board of Directors, auditors, and external government agencies as requested or as needed.

o  Monitor legislative changes that impact HR operations, support benefits and compensation compliance and benchmarking at all levels.


HR Technology and Operations:


o  Advise on, execute, and drive implementation of new and improved HR technology platforms including HRIS, Global Payroll, and other HRIS systems.

o  Transform and automate HR policies and procedures through technological integration, including but not limited to carrier connections, process guides, and training.

o  Manage external vendors to ensure cost-effective, compliant, and well-administered programs that deliver a positive employee experience.


M&A Strategy & Integration


o  Spearhead pre-closing HR due diligence, and post-closing M&A company integration, including employee data migration, systems administration, local compliance requirements, and global total rewards program.

o  Identify and address potential HR-related issues during integration, proposing and implementing solutions to minimize disruption and optimize employee engagement.

o  Develop and execute HR integration strategies and plans to support successful acquisitions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and maintaining a positive employee experience.


Leadership:


o  Mentor and coach developing HR team members, and client HR contacts, both at the Holding Company level and within member companies.

o  Execute against the fiscal budget for total rewards, HR technology, and M&A integration to utilize resources in a cost-effective manner.


 

To be successful, you will need:


·      Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience

·      7+ years of experience in HR director level roles with a focus on global total rewards, HR technology, operations, payroll, or M&A integration

·      Proven success enhancing organizational processes and procedures in a publicly traded, international environment

·      Demonstrated expertise in designing and managing global compensation and benefits programs

·      Experience with implementation and management of multiple international HRIS and HCM platforms and payroll systems

·      Advanced proficiency in Excel, including data modeling, analytics, and reporting

·      Proven ability to lead and mentor HR teams across multiple locations or operating companies

·      Experience with compliance and regulatory reporting within a publicly traded company

·      Complex multi-site multi-state HR experience

·      Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms, implementations, data migrations, global payroll systems, and other HR technology tools

·      Familiarity with international HR compliance requirements and best practices

·      Strong business partnering capabilities; ability to create trust based work relationships

·      Advanced verbal and written communication skills

·      The ability to proactively anticipate business needs

·      Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

·      Proven ability to operate with integrity and ethics, and maintain highest standards of confidentiality

·      Willingness and ability to meet and exceed established deadlines

·      Dependability and reliability with ability to adjust to flexible work schedules

·      A passion for data

·      A “Can – Do” Attitude


We prefer that you have:

·      SHRM-SCP Certification or equivalent

·      CCP Certification

·      Experience in the professional services industry

·      Experience with post-IPO HR compliance management for dual-listing requirements
