Alarm.com is seeking a Billing and Collections Specialist to support our growing team in a dynamic, fast-paced, and fun environment. Responsibilities include collection and reconciliation of international accounts, answering 800 Billing line for Alarm.com international inquiries relating to billing, responding to international customer inquiries through company email, distributing and managing approved credit memos to customers, working in collaboration with International Sales Ops team resolving customer billing issues, invoice management for customers that require invoices to be submitted to online portals, providing reports to International Sales Ops team and conducting monthly meetings, maintaining customer list of declining credit cards, and other duties and responsibilities as assigned related to the stated job function. Requirements include high proficiency in computer software (databases, Microsoft Office, Shoretel, Outlook), keen eye for detail, outstanding communication, conflict resolution, and negotiating skills, organizational skills, and familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within billing functions. Note that sponsorship of new applicants for employment authorization or any other immigration-related support is not available for this position at this time. Competencies include action oriented, approachability, conflict management, decision quality, integrity and trust, listening, negotiating, peer relationships, and problem solving. The job is full-time and hourly, requiring 4+ years of previous collection and customer service experience and an Associates Degree or higher.
