We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Billing Specialist II to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for managing the billing process, ensuring invoice accuracy, maintaining customer accounts, and resolving billing issues. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting our financial operations by ensuring timely and precise billing.

Responsibilities
Generate, review, and process invoices accurately and on time.
Ensure compliance with company policies, contracts, and regulatory requirements.
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries.
Maintain and update customer billing records.
Prepare and distribute billing drafts for management review.
Work closely with Operations, Collections, Contracting/Budgeting, and Customer Service teams to resolve billing concerns.
Generate and distribute customer consolidated invoices
Resolve customer billing errors, revise and re-issue errant invoices, ensure the system is updated and configured to prevent the error from rolling forward to the next month and future billing cycles
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Required Experience: Musthave 1 year or more of billing experience using the Infor Service Management (ISM) ERP
Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with a focus on accuracy.
Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly identify and resolve billing issues.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive financial and customer information with discretion.
Additional Requirements
Must be able to reliably commute to or plan to relocate to Bethesda, MD 20814 before starting the position.
