Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a visionary Space Growth Business Development Executive to manage and expand a portfolio of several USSF, IC, and other National Security Space opportunities. The specific areas of pursuit include Space Engineering Services, Space Architecting, SE&I, AI&T, Mission Integration, Cyber space and Space intelligence. The specific domains are Space sensing, Comms, PNT, LEO, GEO, Cislunar.

Required Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelor of Science degree - STEM field preferred.
- 20 years of experience, including roles working in or for the Federal Government.
- Experience in the National Security Space domain, either in government or industry.
- 10 years of experience in Business Development with a demonstrated track record of growth in the F&O market, including successfully capturing opportunities more than $100M.
- Ability to think strategically and drive creative solutions to complex problems.
- Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders to effect engagement.
- Experience with budget and resource management.
- Active security clearance.
- Strategic Leadership
- Lead the development of the NSS Growth Strategy and pursue opportunities aligned with defense/security roadmaps, ensuring alignment with customer requirements to enhance proposal competitiveness.
- Business Development
- Develop and execute the NSS Pipeline overseeing all phases of growth from identification through award. Coordinate with Capture, Proposal, Pricing, and Solution Development to create compelling and compliant proposals in support of the NSS pipeline. Track and update status of all opportunities via TechnoMile, ensuring that capture plans satisfy all milestone and gate review requirements. Identify and pursue transformative opportunities (greater than $500M) using Astrion capability within the NSS Sector.
- Industry Knowledge
- Deep knowledge and understanding of National Security and Space requirements, capabilities, strategies, and technologies. Strong client relationships with NSS customers and industry partners to expand opportunities and posture for future pursuits.
- Leadership
- Collaborate with other Business Development Executives and internal stakeholders across the company and capture teams to identify opportunities and align efforts with market needs, company strategy, and capture efforts. Work closely with Space Division General Manager and Program Managers in both the development and execution of the NSS Growth Strategy and Pipeline execution. Manage relationships with external partners, including teammates, industry consortia, and academia, to leverage external expertise and technologies.
