Position Title Clinical Assistant/ Foreign Medical Graduate required
Job summary The Clinical Assistant plays a vital role in supporting healthcare providers in delivering high-quality, personalized care to patients.
- Assist providers with day-to-day tasks, including
- Taking notes during patient consultations
- Updating and maintaining accurate medical records
- Monitoring and recording patients’ vital signs
- Support physicians in delivering high-quality, personalized patient care
- Perform a variety of clinical and administrative tasks to ensure efficient patient visits
- Travel between various divisions and sites within the New York City area as needed
- Prepare exam rooms and ensure cleanliness and readiness before and after visits
- Assist with patient check-in/check-out procedures as needed
- Communicate effectively with patients to provide instructions and answer basic questions
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and company compliance standards
- Coordinate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care
- Report any concerns regarding patient health or safety to the appropriate provider
- Participate in team meetings and ongoing training to stay current with best practices
- Medical Graduation (International or National) Passed portions of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE)
- Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduate (ECFMG)
- Excellent Customer services
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Passion to help others and ensure patients are receiving proper care
- Team player
- Clinical Knowledge
- Must be comfortable with EMR navigation- preferably e-Clinical works Computer savvy/ Excel, Adobe, Word, PowerPoint
- Graduated from a foreign medical school
