BHcare is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic offering comprehensive services for adults, children, and families affected by mental health, substance use, and domestic violence. We provide an integrated system of care designed to support long-term wellness and recovery.
What You’ll Do
As a Clinician, you’ll provide flexible, person-centered care to individuals in both outpatient and intensive outpatient settings. Responsibilities include:
Serving as the primary clinician for a caseload of clients
Conducting intake assessments and developing individualized recovery plans
Providing individual, group, and family therapy tailored to clients’ evolving needs
Offering emergency assessments and crisis intervention
Collaborating with psychiatrists and treatment teams to coordinate care and ensure appropriate level of treatment
Managing insurance authorizations and maintaining timely, accurate documentation
Supporting clients in accessing community resources, benefits, and wrap-around supports
Participating in interdisciplinary collaboration and program development
Providing supervision to student interns (if licensed), and actively working toward licensure if not yet fully licensed

Qualifications
MINMIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's or doctoral degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling, psychology or a related mental health field required.
Clinical experience in a psychiatric or substance abuse setting preferred.
Must be proficient in Microsoft 365. Must be able to navigate through electronic health records system (EHR).
PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS:
Professional CT Licensure required (LCSW highly preferred, will consider licensed eligible LMSW or other mental health license (e.g., LPC).
