We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to drive supplier performance, safety, and quality across telecom construction projects. In this role, you will conduct site visits, analyze performance data, identify gaps, and partner with suppliers to implement real-time improvements. You will act as a trusted advisor, fostering collaboration, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and promoting best practices across markets.
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyze site performance metrics (cycle time, quality, safety compliance, tool utilization, etc.).
Identify supplier performance gaps and provide actionable feedback to improve efficiency and quality.
Conduct on-site root-cause analysis and ensure real-time correction of safety and construction deficiencies.
Plan and execute daily/weekly supplier visits to achieve KPI-driven targets.
Partner with project management teams on-site requests such as validating construction drawings, site access, or customer meetings.
Develop and recommend process improvements for construction workflows and tool utilization.
Collect and report supplier performance data to support process enhancements and business decisions.
Build strong supplier relationships to promote continuous improvement and accountability.
Support quarterly supplier business reviews (QBRs) with field insights, recommendations, and action plans.
What We’re Looking For
7+ years of relevant telecom/construction industry experience.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Strong knowledge of general construction processes & procedures.
Experience managing contractors and estimating construction scopes (civil, ground, L&A, backhaul, maintenance).
Familiarity with construction quality standards and safety regulations.
Strong customer-facing and vendor management skills.
OSHA 30-hour certification (telecom industry).
Proven ability to lead, influence, and drive performance improvements.
