Position Summary:
The Controller will oversee all financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and strategic financial planning. This role is ideal for a seasoned accounting professional with deep experience in manufacturing and/or construction environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and financial reporting.
Develop and maintain internal controls and financial procedures.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Collaborate with operations and project teams to ensure accurate job costing and financial tracking.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements.
Support external audits and tax filings.
Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a Controller/leadership role
Strong background in manufacturing and/or construction accounting.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.
Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
