Position: Dispatcher - Flying Food Group (LAI) Facility
Department: Administration
Reports to: Billing Manager Starting Rate: TBD
Date position available: Immediately
Job Responsibilities: Communicate with the Airlines via phone, e-mail regarding preliminary counts, final counts, and up counts, and distribute the information to the corresponding departments.
Job Duties:
Answer the phones in a timely and professional manner.
Communicate with the Airlines about meal orders via phone, e-mail, and fax.
Record all prelims, finals, upcounts, special meals, adjustments, aircraft changes, etc., on the dispatch sheet.
Enter preliminary counts in FAIRS for all the airlines and generate and print the boarding bills.
Prepare related paperwork and tags for daily flight operation.
Consolidate the Kosher meal quantities and give them to the purchasing department.
Distribute copies of the prelim, final, and special meal counts to cold food, hot food departments, and coordinators.
Ensure all boarding bills are signed by the Flight attendant and the coordinator.
Update the daily flight board and driver schedule.
Other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Qualifications:
Proficient in writing, reading, and speaking English.
Must have good Organizational Skills, be detail-oriented, and be able to multitask.
Must have Good Communication skills, both written and oral
Able to work morning, night shift, holidays, and weekends.
