We specialize in designing field installation auxiliary hydraulic kits for excavators and backhoes. Our customers are predominately Authorized Heavy Equipment Dealers and OEMs (Machinery Manufacturers and Attachment Manufacturers).

We are currently looking to add a drafter to our growing engineering department! As a Drafting Engineer, you will help produce best in the industry FIELD INSTALLATION KIT manuals with detailed drawings and assembly drawings.

  • Proficient in drawing and modeling software - Solid Works & Draftsight
  • Understand and use GDT principles
  • Prepare layouts and detailed drawings of parts and assemblies using conventional CAD techniques
  • Responsible for drawing corrections / updates related to the installation instructions.
  • Work with design team to create production drawings of mounts and brackets
  • Compile and assemble installation manuals
  • Support and participate in the organization’s continual improvement program
  • Work closely with purchasing and manufacturing teams on new products to develop spec page, template drawings, and assembly drawings
  • Research required information from technical guides.
  • Work with team members to ensure the product ships within expected lead times.
  • Understand various thread types and its use. Recognize vendor / HCT part numbers for adapters based on the thread type for accurate connections.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates Degree in Drafting
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
  • Basic hydraulic knowledge with ability to follow and understand schematics is a plus
  • Related job experience a plus


SOFTWARE:

  • Solidworks / Draftsight
  • AutoCAD
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Power Point.
