Event Planner

The Event Planner works as part of a team on the design, development, and implementation of client events including in-person and virtual workshops, conferences, meetings.

• Completes tasks related to meeting registration, site logistics, onsite support, and post-meeting follow up. Interacts with project sponsors, with a focus on customer service and understanding of client expectations and needs.
• Interacts with project sponsors, with a focus on customer service and understanding of client expectations and needs.
• Support the planning and execution of meetings, conferences and engagements with U.S. government individuals, industry representatives, and international partners in support of DASA DEC engagement priorities. Planning and execution include venue selection, securing local transportation as needed, supporting visitor access requests as required, site set up and tear down, coordination of audio-visual support, consolidating briefing slides and other materials in preparation for internal and external meetings and ensure timely submission of all required reporting requirements as required to support engagements.
• Engagement venues can include international trade shows, Department of Defense facilities, defense contractor locations, and other commercial venues. Venues can be in the United State or in a foreign location.

• Bachelor’s Degree
