Top-tier venture firm with an impressive portfolio of tech companies is looking for an Executive Assistant to support one of their Partners who leads Events & Community. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, intellectually curious team where creativity meets ambition, while working alongside 10 other EAs. In this dynamic role, you'll provide admin support through calendar management and travel, while also helping foster community and curate exclusive events and experiences in NYC. Someone who is a true tastemaker with exceptional knowledge of NYC's scene, natural hosting instincts, and creative ideas. Someone early in their career who is adaptable, scrappy, and thrives in a front-facing role. They are primarily in-office based in New York, Monday through Thursday, with Friday’s work from home. 120-160K DOE + carry, amazing health benefits, bonus, 401k with matching, flexible PTO, lunch stipend, annual team trips, and gym in the office!
Responsibilities:
Manage the Partner's calendar, arrange meetings, and schedule appointments.
Work closely with the Partner to ensure important tasks are addressed and completed.
Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics.
Curate and recommend venues, dining experiences, and activities for hosting entrepreneurs, potential partners, and VIPs.
Plan and execute community events, dinners, and experiences that reflect the Partner's taste and the firm's standing.
Help develop and support the firm's co-working program, creating engaging experiences for entrepreneurs and visitors.
Assist with managing CRM to track a variety of initiatives, including relationship management, logging interactions with prospects and portfolio companies, and tracking action items.
Work cohesively and collaboratively with other EAs and colleagues across the firm.
Assist with additional projects and tasks, as needed.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Coordinator, or similar role, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in VC, hospitality, or a similar client services industry is a plus.
Knowledge of NYC dining, experience, and hospitality scene.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
Service-oriented mindset and strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Collaborative, team player willing to help where needed.
Strong organization skills and detail-oriented.
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic. You are reliable, flexible, adaptable, and accountable
