A FQHC in Roxbury, Massachusetts, and surrounding areas, is seeking a Family Medicine DNP for a 3-month locum tenens assignment from August.

  • The position is outpatient, day shift, Monday to Friday, with a rotating half-day Saturday shift and one evening shift until 7:30 PM (flexible).
  • Credentialing takes approximately two months.
  • Both MDs and NP/PAs are encouraged to apply.
  • Minimal call required, about once every 4 weeks, with a nurse practitioner serving as first call and provider as backup.
  • See about 10 adult patients per session, with two sessions daily, totaling 8 clinical sessions weekly, plus one day for administrative duties.
  • Patients are adults 18+, 80% on Medicaid.
  • Support staff includes dedicated MA and RN; other MDs are on staff.
  • Prescriptive authority required.
