Position Overview:

As a Laser Scanning Technician at AsBuilt3D, you'll play a crucial role in our mission. Your primary responsibility will be setting up and operating laser scanning equipment at various industrial sites. Your aim is to accurately and efficiently capture client data. No prior experience with scanning technology is necessary; we are eager to train the right individual for this exciting career.

Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and operate laser scanning equipment.

- Travel to job sites via automobile or plane.

- Identify optimal locations for scanner placement to ensure comprehensive 3D coverage.

- Interpret client requirements for data capture.

- Adapt to working in diverse environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures.

- Maintain daily safety records, complete operations checklists, and document job details using a smartphone.

Qualifications:

- Ability to lift 30-50 lbs.

- Willingness to comply with random drug tests based on client requirements.

- Willingness to travel nationally as required.

- Comfort working both independently and in teams of 2-6 people.

- Successful completion of background checks and random drug/alcohol screenings as per client requirements.

- Capability to work at heights of up to 300 feet.

- Basic computer skills.

- Adaptability to various environmental elements, industrial settings, and changing conditions.

- Possession of a valid Driver's License.

- Authorization to work in the US.

Work Environment:

- Full-time and part-time positions available.

- Compensation: $20-28 per hour plus $200 per day travel per diem (when in the field).

- Daily shifts of up to 10 hours.

- Most work scheduled Monday-Friday, with occasional weekend and holiday assignments.
