Base pay range
$60,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr
We are a rapidly growing national security and surveillance provider looking to hire a highly motivated individual to fill an immediate opening in our Service Department. Daily responsibilities include servicing company equipment on client sites, component replacement, and installation with frequent physical labor and ladder work. Our ideal candidate is comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment, works well with others, can work well without supervision, possesses strong customer service skills, has experience with low-voltage cabling, possesses basic networking skills, and has a strong understanding of computers.

Essential Job Functions
On-site response to client sites to address assigned service tickets.
Read and understand site and network maps to ensure proper completion of service.
Locally troubleshoot client sites pertaining to network connectivity issues, malfunctioning equipment, or physical equipment damage.
Identify and correct problems with cameras, computers, wiring, and other miscellaneous equipment.
Install and service a variety of equipment including but not limited to CCTV cameras (IP & analog), digital video recorders, switches, and radios.
Running, fishing, and pulling cables while adhering to local codes, regulations, and standards.
Coordinate with in-house service teams to coordinate in-site repair, cleaning, and equipment installation or replacement.
Verify system functionality by testing equipment, connections, and signals using a laptop.
Maintain detailed records by documenting work completed and updating tickets in real time
Maintain and routinely update assigned equipment inventory.
Comfortable using hand tools and climbing/multitasking on a ladder during site evaluation and repair.
Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduits and moving and lifting heavy objects and up to 90 pounds of material with or without assistance.
Coordinate regularly scheduled maintenance of assigned vehicle.
Job Skills And Requirements
2 years of experience in low voltage/structured cabling.
Knowledge of CCTV equipment including cameras and networking equipment preferred.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in confined or elevated spaces.
Experience pulling and installing low voltage cabling preferred.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision, follow directions and meet deadlines.
Enjoys hands-on problem-solving in a fast-paced work environment.
Excellent time management, planning, and forward-thinking skills.
Strong communication skills and professional demeanor when on client sites.
