Base pay range
$70,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr
Madison Energy Infrastructure (“MEI”) believes in the power of clean energy infrastructure and has quickly emerged as a preeminent developer, investor, owner and operator of distributed generation assets across the United States. This role represents a critical next step in MEI’s evolution toward offering direct, end-to-end services to Fortune 500 corporates, public entities, nonprofits, and other private customers alike.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will play a crucial role in facilitating the company’s tax equity transactions as well as assisting with debt transactions, and will require a basic understanding of financial principles, industry regulations knowledge as well as a willingness to maintain repetitive processes. This position is best filled by a multi-disciplined, self-starter with an appetite for learning and covering multiple technologies and topics.
What You'll Be Doing:
Preparing and maintaining all tax equity funding documentation
Assisting the debt team as needed on document retrieval and organization.
What We Are Looking For:
Excellent documentation and communications skills required
Ability to work collaboratively with teammates across functions
Demonstrated ability to perform with a high degree of flexibility and resourcefulness
Ability to work independently with attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and strong record keeping skills
Willingness to complete repetitive tasks
Demonstrated knowledge of general business and industry practices, processes and familiarity with federal and local energy regulations and performance standards preferred
0.5-1 year in a finance role within the solar and/or renewables industry is preferred
