Financial Advisor

Makari Group is seeking a mid-level Financial Advisor ($550K–$650K T12) to fill a strategic growth position with one of our client firms. This salaried (+ commission) role offers a rare opportunity for a motivated professional who is passionate about financial planning and looking to break through to the next level. Ideal for advisors who have experienced plateaued growth, this opportunity provides both the infrastructure and the support needed to scale beyond your current production.

What You’ll Do:

• Take ownership of a dedicated branch, with flexibility around location in the NYC metro area depending on your residence or preference
• Receive a dedicated licensed banker tasked solely with providing warm referrals, as well as administrative support
• Leverage the firm’s competitive open-architecture platform to access a wide range of solutions, including robust managed account platform, Alternatives & Hedge Funds, and Insurance
• Use the firm’s infrastructure to build toward a $1MM+ practice within 3–5 years.
• Work in a hybrid setting—with office flexibility—and maintain strong, trusted client relationships
• Accurately manage client records and onboarding while expanding your book through organic growth and referral networks

What We’re Looking For:

• A Financial Advisor with portable AUM and 3+ years of experience in the industry
• Desire and ability to thrive in an open-architecture environment
• Strong relationship skills and business development capabilities
• Detail-oriented, organized, and skilled in CRM systems and financial tools
• Ambition to build a business, not just maintain one
