We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Clinician to join our GRIT team, a residential program providing structured, person-centered counseling and recovery-oriented services. This role focuses on supporting individuals (18+) with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. The Clinician will work collaboratively with our skilled multidisciplinary team to help residents build the framework for long-term recovery and develop aftercare plans for a successful transition back into the community.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct individual therapy sessions with residents to address co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges
Facilitate one clinical group per week, fostering a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment
Collaborate with the GRIT treatment team, which includes licensed clinicians, case managers, prescribers, and recovery staff, to create individualized recovery plans
Support residents in their journey toward recovery, helping them build resilience, perseverance, and confidence
Provide input on aftercare planning to ensure successful community reintegration
Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with program guidelines
Position Details
Hours: Full-Time 40 hours, 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm
Required availability: must be available to work one late night per week, (10-6 or 11-7)
The role involves working directly with residents who participate in various structured activities, including education, job training, community volunteering, or employment

Requirements
Must have a bachelor's or master's degree in social work, mental health, psychology or a related field
LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LADC1 preferred
Must be able to pass and obtain certifications in CPR and First Aid
Strong understanding of trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and recovery-oriented treatment approaches
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Valid Driver's license, sufficient automobile insurance, acceptable driving record, and a safe reliable vehicle during working hours
