About the role:

Capstone Hospitality is seeking a high-performing sales professional and accomplished golfer to serve as the next Golf Membership Sales Director at a premier private golf club located in the Hartford, CT area.


Training Program:

The position includes a two-week training period. Week 1: Remote training; Week 2: In-person training at our Jacksonville, FL headquarters. Upon completion, you will work full-time on-site at the client club.


Primary Role and Responsibilities include:

  • Drive new membership sales at Capstone’s private client club
  • Meet and exceed monthly and annual membership sales goals
  • Develop and execute a strategic membership sales plan tailored to the club
  • Utilize Capstone Hospitality’s proven lead generation programs
  • Proactively generate new leads through outbound calls, networking, and marketing efforts
  • Manage the full sales process: lead qualification, tours, follow-up, and closing
  • Foster referral business through relationships with current members and staff
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting of sales activity and results
  • Serve as an integral part of the on-site club team, delivering exceptional service to members and prospects


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of professional sales and marketing experience
  • Minimum 3 years working within the private golf club industry
  • Strong golf background; you understand the game, the culture, and the value of club membership (low handicap preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence decision-making
  • Organized, self-motivated, and driven to exceed goals
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and CRM systems
  • Willingness to complete required training and work on-site in Hartford, CT area
  • Comfortable working Tuesday–Saturday in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment


Compensation: Performance-based compensation. Average annual compensation INCLUSIVE of base + commissions is $70,000-$100,000+. Sales professionals enjoy the ability to control their own income with uncapped commissions.


Schedule: Full-time position. Tuesday - Saturday.
