We're seeking a dedicated HHA Supervisor to join our professional team and ensure our clients receive the highest quality care in the comfort of their homes.
As a Home Health Aide (HHA) Supervisor, you will play a vital role in the client care experience by conducting home visits, developing and updating individualized care plans, supervising aide staff, and ensuring compliance with agency policies and state/federal regulations. This position is both client-facing and leadership-focused, offering a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities
Client Care & Service Coordination
Conduct in-home assessments and develop customized care plans based on client needs.
Review and revise care plans in response to changes in condition or family input.
Communicate with Client Services Coordinators to ensure the best caregiver/client match.
Address and resolve client or family concerns promptly and professionally.
Identify high-risk clients and refer to home health or hospice services when appropriate.
Support clients and families with compassionate and responsive service.
Staff Supervision & Management
Provide orientation, competency evaluations, and support to newly hired caregivers.
Conduct in-person or phone-based client orientation for caregivers.
Lead monthly in-services and continuing education sessions.
Perform regular field supervision of HHA staff and administer corrective action when needed.
Assist in hiring, evaluating, and when necessary, terminating staff.
Serve as backup for second HHA Supervisor and provide leadership support during Director's absence.
Operational Support
Ensure adherence to agency policies and procedures.
Represent RVNAhealth professionally with referral partners, assisted living facilities (ALFs), and in the community.
Support agency growth through referral relationships and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
Licensed Healthcare Professional Preferred (RN, LPN, OT, PT, or MSW)
1+ year experience in private duty/home care preferred
Management and supervisory experience required
Knowledge of Medicare regulations, home care licensing laws, and accreditation standards
Organized, detail-oriented, and effective communicator
Comfortable using technology for documentation and communication
Current CPR certification and valid driver's license with reliable transportation
Ability to travel to client homes/facilities and deliver services in diverse settings

The pay range represents RVNAhealth's commitment to pay transparency and is a reasonable estimate of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting. The final salary for this role will be determined based on careful consideration of a variety of factors, such as the candidate's exact location, experience, and expertise related to the qualifications.
