About The Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy HR Operations/ HRIS Manager, with depth of experience in UKG to own and streamline our HR processes, data, and tools. In this role, you’ll manage core HR systems (primarily UKG Pro), lead process improvements, and ensure the integrity of employee data across the employee lifecycle. You’ll play a critical role in implementing HR programs, generating accurate documentation, supporting compensation, onboarding, reporting functions with precision and confidentiality.

About The Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy HR Operations/ HRIS Manager, with depth of experience in UKG to own and streamline our HR processes, data, and tools. In this role, you’ll manage core HR systems (primarily UKG Pro), lead process improvements, and ensure the integrity of employee data across the employee lifecycle. You’ll play a critical role in implementing HR programs, generating accurate documentation, supporting compensation, onboarding, reporting functions with precision and confidentiality.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as the subject matter expert and primary administrator for UKG Pro (including Core HR, WFM, and Benefits Administration modules).
- Drive improvements in HR workflows by identifying bottlenecks, proposing automation, and documenting procedures.
- Troubleshoot system issues, optimize workflows, and evaluate new features or modules.
- Partner cross-functionally with Payroll, Finance, and IT to ensure smooth data flow and accurate reporting.
- Back up benefits reconciliation and open enrollment file feeds in collaboration with our broker and HR Generalist.
- Generate reports and dashboards to support HR metrics, audits, and leadership requests.
- Maintain and audit HR data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Generate compensation letters, promotion memos, and other formal HR documentation with a high degree of accuracy and discretion.
- Support annual compensation processes through data pulls, audit checks, and coordination with HR leadership.
- Maintain job architecture and pay range data in UKG and Payscale.
- Support internal equity reviews, benchmarking analysis, and offer package preparation.
- Ensure compliance with HR data practices, including record retention and audit readiness.
- Assist with onboarding logistics and data entry for new hires, terminations, and organizational changes.
- Create and maintain HR process documentation and operating playbooks for scalable, repeatable practices.
- Must have experience working with UKG Pro.
- 5+ years of experience in HR operations or systems administration, with at least 2 years hands-on experience as an HRIS admin.
- Strong understanding of employee lifecycle transactions and the impact of system configuration on data integrity and reporting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential data with professionalism.
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, etc..) and comfort working across data platforms.
- Solid understanding of HR compliance practices and standard HR workflows.
- Experience using Payscale for compensation benchmarking and pay structure management.
- Exposure to data governance, integration projects, or reporting toolsets.
- Knowledge of benefits administration and payroll interfaces.
- You approach challenges with curiosity and a willingness to learn.
- You’re proactive and take ownership, especially when the task is new or undefined.
- You value progress over perfection and know when to ask questions and when to run with it.
- Compensation: $135-150K
