To assist staff within the Human Resources and Payroll team with various projects, clerical duties, and customer services.
Distinguishing Characteristics
Position requires familiarity with computers, typing experience, good communication skills, organizational skills, the ability to maintain confidential information, and remain friendly and professional with all visitors to the department.
Essential Job Functions
Answer the door and phone to provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors
Refer visitors to the appropriate HR member as needed based upon visitors’ requests
Copy and scan documents, send to recipients on behalf of HR if needed
Filing
Complete audits on documents as requested
Create new employee files
Audit files
Other duties as assigned
This is a federal work study position open to current WNE students.

Sitting, standing, bending, and reaching as expected in normal office settings.
Operation of computer keyboard and monitor.
Lifting up to 25 lbs.
Hours
Human Resources is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. The work schedule will be based on the student’s availability during normal office hours.
