Position Overview

Objective Area Solutions (OAS) is seeking a highly skilled Intermediate II Business/Financial Management Analyst to provide financial and business management support to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in Washington, DC. This position requires strong financial analysis, budgeting, and administrative expertise to support the FAA's operational and logistical functions. The Analyst will focus on financial planning, reimbursable agreements, business process analysis, and accurate reporting in support of FAA programs and projects.

This position is full-time and on-site at FAA headquarters in Washington, DC.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

The Intermediate II Business/Financial Management Analyst will perform a wide range of financial and program support activities, including but not limited to:

  • Plan, budget, and control funding allocations across multiple FAA projects and initiatives.
  • Manage reimbursable agreements with external stakeholders using Treasury G-Invoicing, FAA Projects Toolset, and Delphi.
  • Analyze and reconcile financial data, ensuring proper documentation, approvals, and audit readiness.
  • Prepare accurate financial reports and ensure timely close-out of reimbursable projects.
  • Support external Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and deliver financial briefings to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and internal controls for financial operations.
  • Provide expert financial guidance to FAA staff and coordinate with external customers to validate expenditures, billing, and collections.
  • Support FAA Office of Financial Management Special Projects Division with project authority setup, accounting lines, and Military Interdepartmental Purchase Request (MIPR) tracking.
  • Utilize Tableau to develop dashboards and provide data visualization for financial analysis and reporting.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant administrative or financial management experience.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Possession of a valid REAL ID or U.S. Passport.

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and SharePoint.
  • Prior experience supporting the FAA or other U.S. Government clients.

Work Environment

  • Full-time, on-site in Washington, DC.
