Lead Senior Tax Accountant

As a Lead Senior Tax Accountant, you will play an essential role in our organization, contributing to various financial tasks and projects. • M&A due diligence, M&A modeling, ASC740 and tax compliance reporting for M&A activities including memos
• Special tax projects including but not limited to unusual transactions, tax research, assisting with major income tax filings, assisting with federal income tax audit and SARBOX management
• Maintaining required book & tax basis balance sheets
• Assisting with tax planning and compliance function, which including federal and state income tax returns, as well as partnership returns
• Assist with LRP tax forecasting and quarterly closes, as needed
• Reviewing new and existing tax laws, court cases, regulations, and rulings to minimize the Corporation’s tax burden.
• Building and maintaining crucial relationships between Tax and Business Units, ensuring Tax has a well-informed view of the business operations.
• Seeking opportunities for efficiency and improvements in processes, driving meaningful change.
  
  

This is a hybrid role and will require 1 day a week (currently Wednesday) in the Bethesda office.
