We are currently looking for a compassionate, dependable Live-in Caregiver. This role is ideal for someone who is outgoing, friendly, engaging, and able to offer both emotional support and practical assistance in daily life. Candidates currently living in Connecticut are preferred.
The ideal candidate will have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Mileage reimbursement is provided when using your vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
Providing companionship and meaningful conversation
Assisting with mobility and ensuring fall prevention
Supporting with personal care needs
Preparing meals and light housekeeping
Guiding and assisting with light exercises
Providing medication reminders
Driving to medical appointments or running occasional errands is required; mileage reimbursement will be provided when using your personal vehicle.

Qualifications:
A love for the senior community
A compassionate and upbeat attitude
Strong commitment to reliability and ethical behavior
Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms
Dedication to professional development
A minimum of 1-year experience in care giving for seniors
Ability to lift 30-40 pounds
Resides in Connecticut
Possess a valid driver's license, access to reliable transportation, valid auto insurance and a good driving record
Possess a State ID, and a valid second form of ID, such as a Social Security Card, Passport, or Birth Certificate
Eligible to work in the United States for any employer
Pass a background check and drug testing per company standards
Responsibilities And Duties
Our Caregivers are responsible for providing hands-on, non-medical, quality care to clients of Collaborative Home Care.
Caregivers provide care based on the plan of care for their clients, which includes activities of daily living such as personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, medication reminders)
Companion care (e.g. conversation, hobbies and activities, shopping).
Caregivers must be able to work with minimal supervision, accepting personal responsibility for the maintenance of a professional relationship with the client in accordance with Collaborative Home Care policies and standards.
